Description: 
The course is designed to provide construction workers with information they need to know to recognize fall hazards in the workplace and to properly utilize equipment to prevent falls. 
Objectives
  • Objectives:
  • Residential construction employees will be able to recognize the nature of common fall hazards in the work area.
  • Students will be able to understand what the federal and state requirements are regarding fall protection safety.
  • Students will understand how to properly utilize fall protection equipment such as Personal Fall Arrest/ Fall Restraint, Safety Net Systems, and Guardrails.
  • Students will understand how to abate fall hazards in the work area.
  • Students will be able to understand the requirements for fall protection plans.
