Course Description
The course is designed to provide construction workers with information they need to know to recognize fall hazards in the workplace and to properly utilize equipment to prevent falls.
Objectives
  • •Residential construction employees will be able to recognize applications requiring guardrail systems.
  • •Students will be able to understand what the federal and state requirements are regarding guardrail usage.
  • •Students will understand how to properly utilize guardrails as fall protection.
  • •Students will understand strength requirements for components that comprise guardrails.
  • •Students will be able to understand the requirements for guardrails systems and their individual components.
