Course Description
The course is designed to provide construction workers with information they need to know to recognize fall hazards in the workplace and to properly utilize equipment to prevent falls.
Objectives
  • • Residential construction employees will be able to recognize various types of scaffolding available for construction activities.
  • • Students will be able to understand what the federal and state requirements are regarding employees working form and with scaffolds.
  • • Students will understand how to properly access scaffolds and maintain them.
  • • Students will understand requirements for work platform construction and usage.
  • • Students will be able to understand the requirements for minimum strength criteria for various scaffold components.
