Course Description
The course is designed to provide construction workers with information they need to know to recognize fall hazards in the workplace and to properly utilize equipment to prevent falls.
Objectives
  • • Residential construction employees will be able to recognize which procedures or methods to increase stability of supported scaffolds from prevention of collapse during usage.
  • • Students will be able to understand what the federal and state requirements are regarding supported scaffolds.
  • • Students will understand how to properly support, brace, and tie supported scaffolds.
  • • Students will understand how prevent supported scaffolds from tipping.
  • • Students will be able to understand the requirements for preventing supported scaffolds from swaying.
